Telling the Time

WALT tell the time o'clock and half past.WALT tell the time o'clock and half past.

What did you do well? I think the thing I did well was doing the clock and trying to get the right time. What was tricky? finding the right pictures and numbers for the clock.

My Speech

 WALT present a persuasive speech.

What did you do well? The thing I did well was getting the ideas and putting my speech into paragraphs. Also I was using as much eye contact. What do you need to work on for next time? making my speech a bit longer and adding more detail. What was your overall feeling about your speech experience? At the start I was very very nervous BUT when I stood up in front of everyone I was so exited after that I was very proud.

Keeping New Zealand clean

On the  22.9.20 Te Puawai, Te Kauru and my class Te Manga went to lake ngatu to do some planting and picking up rubbish on the track.

All the teams planted about 5 plants each the types of trees we planted were native Kanuka and manuka.

I learnt that keeping the environment beautiful helps the waterways and farmlands develop easier without all the rubbish getting caught everywhere.

My favourite part there was helping out the community and helping out Zana and Lucy with getting the plants out of the bags.
